What Sellsmith is
Sellsmith is an AI listing generator for resellers. You upload one photo of the item you want to sell, and Sellsmith returns a ready-to-post listing: a keyword title, a full description, a suggested price range, a category, a condition grade, and a set of hashtags. The output is tuned for the marketplace you pick.
It is a drafting tool, not a storefront. Sellsmith does not list, sell, or ship anything for you, and it is not affiliated with any marketplace. It writes the listing copy. You review it, post it, and run your own sales.
Who it is for
Sellsmith is built for resellers who post on eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, and Depop. That includes weekend flippers clearing a closet, steady sellers posting new finds every week, and full-time resellers moving real volume. If you source items and need to get them listed without spending your evening writing copy, this is for you.
How it works
The flow is short on purpose. There are three steps:
- 01Upload one photo. Snap the item or use a picture you already have. One clear photo is enough for the model to read brand, material, and condition.
- 02Pick where you sell. Choose eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, or Depop. Sellsmith adjusts tone, length, and keywords to fit how that platform sells.
- 03Copy, paste, post. You get a complete listing in seconds. Check it over, paste it into your marketplace, and move on to the next item.
The photo is sent to the AI model only to generate that listing. It is not stored after the listing is produced. The text you get back is saved to your history so you can find it again.
Why it exists
Sourcing items is the fun part of reselling. Listing them is not. Writing a title that buyers actually search for, hunting the right category, grading condition, and second-guessing the price is slow and repetitive, and it is the step where inventory piles up. Most resellers either rush it or put it off.
Sellsmith exists to remove that bottleneck. When listing takes seconds instead of fifteen minutes, you list everything you source instead of letting a bin sit in the corner. A clear, keyword-rich listing also gets your item seen by more buyers than a rushed one. That is the whole idea: less time on copy, more items posted, more chances to sell.
How pricing works
Sellsmith runs on credits, and the model is simple: one credit equals one generated listing.
- Every new account starts with 3 free credits, so you can generate three full listings and decide if the tool is worth it. No card is needed to try it.
- When the free credits run out, you buy more by purchasing a prepaid credit pack. A pack is a one-time payment, not a subscription. Sellsmith never bills you on a recurring basis.
- Bigger packs bring the per-listing cost down. Credits are tied to your account and do not expire.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. Sellsmith does not see or store your full card details.

An honest note on the AI
Sellsmith uses an AI model to read your photo and write the listing. AI is fast and good at the first draft, but it is not perfect. Suggested prices, brands, materials, and measurements are estimates. You know your item better than the model does, so the final listing is yours to review and correct before you post it. Sellsmith speeds up the writing. The accuracy of what you publish is still in your hands.
